Dr. Marie Toscano MD FRCPC
Dermatologist
Dr. Marie Toscano is a dermatologist whose expertise and compassion redefine the standards of practice. She is an efficient, attentive, and empathetic academic physician.
Her academic journey began at the University of Sherbrooke, where she earned her medical degree, followed by specialized post-doctoral studies in dermatology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montreal. She is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and holds a diploma from the College of Physicians
of Quebec.
Dr. Toscano’s passion for dermatology extends beyond clinical practice. As a member of the dermatology service at CISSS de l’Outaouais and a clinical teaching associate at the McGill University Outaouais Campus, she plays a crucial role in dermatology training of the of the next generation of physicians.
Dr. Marie Toscano stands out for her contribution to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, where she served as an executive member of the dermatology examination committee for several years, playing a key role in maintaining excellence in dermatological practice standards.
Dr. Toscano holds administrative positions within the CRDS and has been a medical resource for the development of teledermatology in the Outaouais region.

Dr. Janie Bertrand MD FRCPC
Dermatologist
A graduate of the University of Sherbrooke, Dr. Bertrand continued her academic ascent at the University of Montreal, where she completed her post-doctoral studies in dermatology. In 2012, she attained associate status with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Bertrand’s career began at the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke before establishing herself in the Outaouais region. She enthusiastically joined the dermatology clinic and the dermatology service at CISSSO, enriching these institutions with her expertise.
Her passion for dermatology goes beyond clinical practice. She has been part of various committees within provincial and Canadian organizations, playing a key role in various professional development and continuing education projects. For several years, she served as the head of the DPC committee of the Association des médecins spécialistes dermatologues du Québec. She is an examiner and a member of the executive committee of the dermatology examination at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. As a clinical teaching associate at the McGill University Outaouais Campus, she shares her wealth of knowledge and experiences with the next generation of physicians.
In 2023, she was appointed head of the dermatology service at CISSSO, a role that reflects her leadership. In collaboration with pediatricians, she developed a care pathway for newborns with infantile hemangiomas, demonstrating her commitment to dermatological care for all ages.
In her aesthetic practice, Dr. Bertrand stands out for her listening skills, gentleness, artistic flair, and systematic approach. She advocates for natural and harmonious results and frequently engages in various aesthetic dermatology training sessions.
